Team James Wins the Clear Dream Match 3!

For many months now, we're clamoring on who's the best Younghusband brother. During the Clear Dream Match 3 Launch, I have been very vocal that James will win this one. And yesterday, June 7, the dream became a reality as they settle the rivalry once and for all, with Manchester United living legends by their side, Paul Scholes for Team Phil and Andy Cole for Team James.
During the Press Conference at the Fairmont Ballroom, football fans and the media were eager to meet the Manchester United legends, Paul Schole and Andy Cole.

11-time English Premier League Winner, Paul Scholes said, “I’m excited to visit the Philippines. It’s always a great experience to visit a country where football is a growing sport.”

Cited as one of the best midfielders of his generation, Scholes has made over 700 appearances for Manchester United and has the third-highest number of appearances by any player for the club.  He also played a key part in the club's Treble-winning success in the 1998–99 season.

On the other hand, this is not Andy Cole's first time in the country. He mentioned that he has visited the Philippines once and he is excited that he was chosen to play here. Cole is the second highest goal scorer in English Premier League history. He has won numerous trophies with Manchester United and is one of the few players to date who has bagged all possible honors in the English game, including the PFA Young Player of the Year and the UEFA Champions League title.

“We have so many Manchester United fans in Asia, and I’m really excited to meet the 12 million United followers in the Philippines,” said Cole.

And yesterday, the Dream Match happened at the University of Makati football grounds. Final score was 1-0 with James Younghusband claiming his throne as the ClearDream Match champion. Joaco Canas, is named the Most Valuable Player and the Best Defender.  Special awards goes to Izo El-Habib for the Best Striker Awards, Simon Greatwich for the Best Midfielder trophy and Roland Sadia as the Best Goalkeeper.

The Clear Dream Match is presented by Clear, the number 1 anti-dandruff shampoo for men, in partnership with the Manchester United.
