Arakawa Japanese Kitchen and Bar Opens at Pasig City

Sushi Saturdate - that's was my theme during the opening of Arakawa Japanese Kitchen and Bar last September 26. Located at Comtal Building, C. Raymundo, Pasig City, diners can now enjoy their Japanese food craving that is fit for their budget.

Arakawa is name for the longest river in Japan. And just like where the name is derived, they have a long Japanese Menu that everyone can surely enjoy. Don't be discouraged of its quaint place, because Arakawa has a selection of Otsumami, Salads, Sushi and Sashimi, Ramen, Nabemono and Yakisoba, Misono, Donburi and Bento Meals. In this store, you can say that quality and quantity is at its best.

California Roll
Sushi Sampler
Arakawa Special Maki
Since we were three at the table, we had different sushi and sashimi fillings all over. FPJ had the Sushi Sampler, which consists of sashimi, nigiri and maki, Krystle had the Arakawa Special Maki, and I ordered the California Roll. Remember what I said about the quantity? These are all large portions and each dish is less than Php500. With the quality of the ingredients that they used, it's enough to have a sushi and sashimi party while at it.

Shoyu Ramen
Maguro Teppan
We also tried the Maguro Teppan (Pan Grilled Tuna Fillet) and it was really sumptuous. I loved how healthy our lunch was. We also tried the Shoyu Ramen and it is the best ramen, especially now that it started raining again.

Buta Shiogayaki Bento
For those who wanted more (and I mean large portions), you can order the Buta Shiogayaki Bento. Priced for only Php228, this bento is served with Miso Soup, Iced Tea and Dessert. Great deal, right?

Strawberry Banana Split
Desserts are also a must! They serve must-try sweets like the Strawberry Banana Split. Full meal at such an affordable price. I'm so envious that I live far from Pasig, so I hope that they could open more stores nearby.

So if you are craving for that Japanese fix, Arakawa is the answer to that. You can also order online via www.arakawa-ph.com
