Prepare to Get Spooked with SM's Horror Film Festival

Happy Halloween everyone! I must say that when you ask a Pinoy about a horror story, he would oblige to tell you one. In our country, every island has a ghost story, and SM Cinema, together with the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) bring you Sineng Pambansa Horror Plus Film Festival with not just one, but four spooky movies!
Titled after the well-known (and feared) folklore characters, the T’yanak and the Hukluban, will take you back to when you were a child, listening to your grandparents’ stories of murderous monster babies and the Philippine version of the grim reaper.

Last week, we were able to see T'yanak, starring Judy Ann Santos, and it was a remake of the old film. I must say that it was a bit modernized, but it was like a throwback Thursday for us viewers. I can't imagine being face to face with a tiyanak, because I love babies. It was great to feel like the nineties once again, though.

Sigaw sa Hatinggabi brings to life our fear of harmful ghosts, while Bacao tells the story of the shocking repulsions a woman would go through just to get pregnant.

SM Cinema’s Sineng Pambansa Horror Film Festival will surely satisfy your movie craving with its dash of nostalgia, mix of genres, and fear inducing stories. And as a treat to make your experience more horror-tastic, all e-PLUS Tap to Pay holders receive a 10% discount for the first movie, and a 50% discount for the second Sineng Pambansa movie purchase. All you have to do is to drop by any SM Cinema branch to catch these films from October 29 until November 4 only.

So what are you waiting for? Get ready to be spooked and feel the Halloween frenzy. To know more about e-PLUS Tap to Pay and SM Cinema, you may visit www.e-PLUS.ph and www.smcinema.com.
