Summertime is definitely here. And as the season comes to the Philippines, American actress and singer, Renee Olstead will perform live tonight at her dinner show at the Isla Grand Ballroom of the EDSA Shangri-La Manila.
Olstead, a jazz singer is also known for her roles in the TV sitcoms, Standing Still and The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
Her musical portfolio is mainly on Jazz music. She has released her self-titled album of jazz songs and pop standards for Warner Brothers Records in 2004 and performed live in Berlin during the Live 8 concert. She also recorded with trumpeter Chris Botti on 2005 album, To Love Again: The Duets. She was also then discovered by David Foster and produced her albums.
Also a philanthropist, Renee Olstead is a vegan and a part of PETA, where she is an advocate of freeing Mali last 2012.
