Have a Winema Weekend at SM North EDSA!

Winema, SM’s newest interactive cinema experience, opened it second spot last Wednesday, September 8 at The Block, Cinema 1 at SM City North EDSA.

Power Catcher

Launched last April 2010 at SM Megamall, Winema turns its viewers into “human joysticks” by waving their arms altogether. They are currently running two games, namely Boink Out and Power Catcher. A motion detecting camera makes it possible to track the movement of the viewers to score throughout the game. But first, you have to say the magic word, “Weeeeeee” to start the game.

Our team won 26 points for each game. And we were so proud to make history as the highest scorer in Winema record. Not bad for first timers right?

Winema runs on Fridays, from 6:00-10:00 PM, Saturdays and Sundays at Cinema 1, The Block, SM North EDSA. Bring all your family and friends and start shouting “Weeeee!” as the fun starts in taking interactive gaming to its new level.
